Mr. Gibson spent the first 10 years of his career working for two retail architecture firms in Sacramento, California, and achieving the title of Associate with both firms. There he obtained a broad range of architectural experiences and exposure to the retail environment.
Additionally, he has acquired over 10 years of experience in the corporate world with companies as: PepsiCo (Pizza Hut brand), the Gymboree Corporation and also Gap Brands (Gap Flagships Stores, Gap, Banana Republic & Old Navy Outlet Stores) all as their Director of Architecture & Construction; and finally as Vice President of Architecture & Construction for Hollywood Entertainment.
In 2001 Scott founded SGA ~ SCOTT GIBSON ARCHITECT, specializing in retail shopping center projects. With over 25 years of professional experience, SGA serves major retail and development clients throughout Northern California, Nevada and Oregon.
